I have known Dave Edwards for five years in my capacity as Property Manager for Rentables Ltd, Professionals and Harcourts, all based in Levin. My role included reporting and acting on a large range of property maintenance items that required attending to in a timely manner. Dave joined our team of suppliers and contractors in 2019.
During that time, I came to value Dave very highly for his craftsmanship and considerable expertise in all areas of construction, joinery, building and carpentry. We were very fortunate in having the benefit of his qualified experience as a builder. He is able to identify an effective remedy to repairs and maintenance, and is also very adept at coordinating other service providers such as plumbers and electricians where required. This frequently involves extra time in contacting tradespeople and suppliers to ensure that the necessary personnel and products are ready and available at the appropriate time.
A significant feature of Dave’s skill is his attention to detail and high standards of workmanship – he does not cut corners or settle for inferior results. He would rather turn down jobs if an owner or client is wanting a cheap or second-rate finish.
I can thoroughly recommend Dave for the quality of his work, his ability to problem solve, his professionalism, and his efficient and prompt completion of jobs. He is also extremely easy to deal with; and keeps communication open to all those involved.
Due to his knowledge and capabilities, I have used Dave to complete projects on my own properties with outstanding results, and would not hesitate to do so again in the future.
